Safety & Trust

Built with the care you'd want for your own patients.

Zeevo supports people between sessions, sometimes on hard days. That shapes how it's built: the therapist stays in charge, Zeevo stays within its role, and it is never presented as a crisis service.

Not a crisis service.

Zeevo is not an emergency or crisis service, and patients are told this when they start. If someone is in immediate danger, call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline in the U.S., or call 911.

The therapist stays in charge.

  • Every conversation is visible to the treating therapist, in full.
  • Patients practice only what their therapist has assigned.
  • Zeevo does not diagnose, prescribe, or change a treatment plan.
  • Therapists can change or remove assignments at any time.

Grounded in established practice.

  • Exercises are built from established, evidence-based approaches, including CBT, ACT and DBT.
  • Content is developed with our Chief Science Officer and reviewed by licensed clinicians before it reaches a patient.
  • Zeevo is designed to keep conversations centered on assigned work, and to point patients back to their therapist for decisions about their care.

Developed with practicing clinicians.

A clinical advisory board of licensed clinicians tests Zeevo and helps shape how it behaves.

Privacy.

  • A patient's conversations are visible only to that patient and their therapist.
  • We're putting HIPAA-level safeguards in place before any patient uses Zeevo.
  • Please don't send health information through this website's contact forms.
